Alice Jackson

Consultant Solicitor

Alice specialises in Mental Capacity and Mental Health Law, with substantial experience acting in complex health and welfare proceedings before the Court of Protection. She primarily represents the Protected party “P”.

Alice is regularly instructed by the Official Solicitor and by advocates acting on behalf of vulnerable individuals, ensuring that P’s rights, wishes, and best interests are clearly and accurately presented. Alice holds Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) and appears frequently before both the Mental Health Tribunal and the Court of Protection, bringing measured advocacy, careful preparation, and a consistently professional approach.

 

Alice is an Accredited Legal Representative (ALR)  in the Court of Protection and a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme.

Alice graduated from the University of Southampton in 2009 with a degree in Law. In 2025, she was appointed as a Judge of the First‑tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)
